At PeaEm, we want you to be able to forget about project management. We take care of everything ranging from getting tooling set up right, to hosting daily standups with engineers, to keeping track of timelines, to providing regular updates for senior management and executives to know how everything is going.

When project management is done right it tends to fade away from your consciousness. All the engineers and other individual contributors get up in the morning and know exactly what they need to do that day, and spend the whole day doing it. Projects get delivered on time and on budget, and fires that need to be put out just never seem to arise in the first place. This all sounds great, but all this wonderful productivity can leave a full-time project manager wondering what to do with themselves. As a result, they often end up creating a whole bunch of activity and busywork that doesn't need to be done, ultimately getting in the way of people doing real work and the overall productivity of the organization.

At PeaEm, by offering project management as a subscription service, we're 100% aligned with you in wanting everything to be going smoothly, without the busywork. Rather than putting out fires one after the next, we quietly make sure everything is going smoothly, while at the same time keeping out of your way to focus on more important things like defining the direction of your product, finding product market fit, hiring great engineers, and building an amazing company.

PeaEm is a company built around modern work practices. We are 100% remote, and specialize in working with software companies developing technical products. We work with companies of all sizes, but have found we offer the most value to startups with around 20 to 100 full-time team members. For smaller companies, we offer special rates as there's less to do overall, and for larger companies project management takes on a different flavor as divisions tend to need more program management than project management.

All our project managers are fully qualified PMPs and ScrumMasters. Depending on the size of your company, we will assign at least one senior project manager and possibly one or more assistant project managers. The senior project manager will be your main go-to person for all your project management needs, and the assistant project managers may assist them with things like hosting daily standups, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks.

At PeaEm, our mission is to do just one thing, really, really well. That thing is technical project management for software companies with a team size of around 20-100 employees. We might branch out into other things in the future, but right now we're focused on just that.
